Gary Zentner is an investment partner at Allerand Capital. Allerand Capital is a private investment and advisory firm active in direct debt/equity investing, loan advisory and restructuring, and asset underwriting services. Mr. Zentner also established and developed an independent investment, consulting and advisory firm, Avalon National Corporation. Avalon acts as a principal and provides financial consulting to a select group of clients from Canada that seek real estate and corporate investment opportunities in the United States.  In addition, Mr. Zentner is an active angel investor, respected by the venture community. He has made several seed capital investments in new emerging technology companies and acted as a board advisor.

Mr. Zentner began his career with The Chicago Corporation, where he worked on a variety of public and private corporate finance transactions, including debt offerings, equity offerings, and M&A. In 1996, Mr. Zentner moved from Chicago to New York and became the Managing Director of Deutsche Bank’s Strategic Equity Transactions Group. His expertise includes risk management and tax-advantaged equity related investment strategies for high net worth individuals.

Mr. Zentner was born in Montreal, Canada. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
